Welcome to the Bluegrass Parlor.
The Bluegrass Parlor started out life as a music store in Tampa, Fl specializing in Bluegrass Music. The store was started in 1980 by Tom Henderson. In addition to selling instruments, Records/Tapes/CDs, and other accessories it was also the place in the Tampa Bay area for bluegrass music lessons. It was also host to public jam sessions every Thursday evening and many a memorable concert.
After more than 25 years of operation the storefront closed July 2007. The cost vs. benefit of keeping the storefront open finally tipped in the wrong direction and Jeff Jones, owner since 2005, with a heavy heart closed the storefront.
However that is not the end of the Bluegrass Parlor story, merely the end of one chapter....
