Judy Barrett started with poetry but moved into song when she began playing th autoharp. She writes many of her own songs but also resurrects traditional ones. Judy has played Florida Folk Festival and other festivals all over Florida. She has also won many awards in autoharp competitions all over Florida. Judy has been a faithful supporter of folk music and of our music series at the Sweetwater Farm.

Rick Ferriss has played music for over 30 years around the Tampa Bay area, and recorded with drummer Ed Graham, Richard Leps, and Jim Beckwith, and has provided backup to artists such as Carl Wade and Something Special. Rick leads the Tampa Jam Group which meets on alt. Tuesdays. Rick is a versatile musican with several songwriting credits but is also known for delivering rousing renditions of old favorites.
