Just wanted to give everyone an update on our weekly Thursday evening Jam session. We are now holding the jam at the Tranquilo Coffee Shop, on 30th street. So far the response has been great and everyone seems to really like the new location.

Here are some pictures from this past weeks jam session.

There is going to be another dobro workshop with Jimmy Heffernan hosted by the Bluegrass Parlor. This time the workshop will be held at the Tranquilo coffee shop November 3rd and 4th. Last time we had a great turn out and everyone that attended the last one really enjoyed it. I found it to be the most well conducted and informative workshops I have ever attended.

Randy Kohrs Dobro Workshop

On December 3rd, 2005 we were fortunate enough to host a dobro

workshop with Randy Kohrs. He was in town performing at Skippers

Smokehouse at a WMNF concert along with Jim Lauderdale and the

BLuegrass Parlor Band. He stopped by the store and did a 4 hour

workshop on that saturday and we had a great turnout of dobro

players for the event.
